who we are
Prior to establishing hanomoco design in 2015, Dan and Charlotte worked collaboratively for eight years at a high end residential design build firm. In addition to design, their experience includes construction estimating, scheduling and project management, which provides an invaluable edge in the increasingly complicated remodeling industry.
Dan Hano was born and raised in New York City and has a Bachelors of Science from Cornell University in Interior Design. Dan brings spatial planning skills coupled with construction expertise, technical & product knowledge. He is equally inspired by a trip to a steel or lumber yard as a visit to the San Francisco Design Center, and never tires of generating options.
Charlotte Moco grew up in the United Kingdom and began her career in design in the fashion industry. She honed her aesthetic sense through years of experience as a Apparel Buyer for a large London department store, ultimately opening her own boutique. Charlotte is the entrepreneur of the team, and made the transition from Fashion to Remodeling in 2005. She brings drive and a tireless work ethic with an ability to combine color, texture and materials that rivals the finest ateliers.
